Terms & Conditions
- Children under 5 years can travel for 10% of the total cost. Children aged 5 to 12 years will be charged half the cost. You must provide age proof at the time of ticket purchase.
- For festive departures like Christmas (25th December) and New Year (1st January), a 10% surcharge will be added to the total fare.
- A 5% GST will be applied to the total journey price.
- The mentioned prices may change without notice.
Inclusions / Exclusions
The fare covers the following
- Travel, food, guided sightseeing, entrance fees to monuments/parks/palaces, cultural programs, camel ride in Jaisalmer, boat ride in Udaipur, and rickshaw ride in Bharatpur.
The fare doesn’t cover the following
- Drinks, tips, laundry, phone calls, video camera fees, business car facilities, liquor, and other personal items.
Booking Policy
For individual travelers (FITs)
- 20% of the tariff is due when booking is confirmed.
- The remaining 80% must be paid 60 days before departure.
Cancellation Policy
For individual travelers (FITs)
- 10% of ticket value if canceled 90 days or more before departure.
- 20% of ticket value if canceled 89 to 30 days before departure.
- 100% of ticket value if canceled 29 days or less before departure.
No Show/En Route Termination/Amendment
- Non-arrival – If you don't show up, no refund or future travel credit will be given. The whole amount is forfeited.
- En route termination – If you end the tour early, no refund or future travel credit will be given. The unused portion of the tour is forfeited.
- Amendment – Changes are only possible in cases of natural disasters or serious health problems (with a doctor’s note) and depend on availability. No refunds are given, and each case is evaluated individually. No changes are allowed for group bookings or complete train bookings.
- *The itinerary and prices of Palace on Wheels can change without notice.
Note:
- If you cancel your tour after booking, a minimum 10% service charge will apply on the total cost.
- If the company cancels the tour after booking, you can either:
- Receive a credit note for the booking amount, usable by you or your family and friends.
- Request a refund with a 10% service charge deducted. The remaining amount will be refunded.
- In both cases, additional charges for canceled flight tickets, train tickets, hotel bookings, and other services will be deducted.
- If you cancel after the trip has started, the refund will be limited to what we can recover from our suppliers. No refund for unused services.
- Cancellation amount is calculated on the total booking amount, not just the advance payment.
Force Majeure:
Tusk Travel Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, such as war, terrorism, riots, government actions, natural disasters, pandemics, or other emergencies.
Both the company and the client will try to avoid and overcome the effects of such events. Once the event is over, the terms will be fully effective again. Obligations before the event remain in place.
Jurisdiction Clause:
All disputes will be resolved in Delhi courts only.
